API.markethas no monthly sticker price, which is why most directories list it as "custom" and leave you guessing. It bills per unit of usage, so your real cost depends on volume. 18% GST applies on the fee, and a registered business reclaims it as input credit.
Published standard rates, as verified from the vendor's own charges page. Rates exclude 18% GST and are negotiable at volume.
| Plan | Billing | What you pay |
|---|---|---|
| Pay as you go (wallet) | per unit of usage | No monthly fee. Each API provider sets its own price per unit (per call, per image, per second of video, per megapixel or per 1,000 characters), drawn from a prepaid wallet topped up by card. The wallet needs at least one US dollar to subscribe to a pay as you go plan, usage is billed cumulatively every 10 minutes, only successful calls are charged, and wallet credit does not expire. Optional auto pay tops the wallet up when it falls below a threshold, minimum top up five US dollars. |
| Per API monthly subscription | recurring | Each API has its own plan ladder (typically Free, Basic, Pro, Ultra, Mega) priced by the provider, so there is no single platform price. A plan is a monthly fee for a set quota of units that resets each cycle and does not roll over. A HARD limit blocks calls at the quota; a SOFT limit keeps serving and bills extra units at the provider's overage rate at month end. The vendor's docs give typical monthly fees from about 9 to 499 US dollars per API. |
| Custom volume pricing | recurring | Quote only. The FAQ says high volume buyers can email for volume discounts, dedicated support and dedicated endpoints. |
| Enterprise self-hosted model licensing | recurring | Quote only. A separate offer to license and self host MagicAPI's own AI models, with a 99.9% uptime SLA on that page. The vendor says it starts at a fixed monthly fee; contact sales for a quote. |
There is no platform subscription; you pay each API's seller set price through API.market in US dollars, either as a monthly plan per API or pay as you go from a prepaid wallet charged to a card, and the terms say sales tax is added where the company deems it required, with no GST invoice stated. Pay as you go needs a prepaid wallet with a small minimum balance to subscribe and a small minimum top up, usage is billed from it cumulatively every 10 minutes, monthly quotas reset each cycle without rollover, SOFT limit plans bill overage at month end, and cancelled subscriptions run to the end of the current cycle. The terms say usage fees are generally non refundable once consumed, with refunds case by case, but product pages promise a 30 day return of unused API quota for any reason, so get any refund promise confirmed in writing.
A monthly plan is capped; a per-unit of usagerate is not. At low volume a percentage rate is the cheaper deal, and past a certain point a flat monthly tool wins. Model your own volume before assuming "no monthly fee" means cheaper.
GST is charged on the unit of usage fee, not on the full value you process. A registered business reclaims it as input credit, so the fee before GST is the number that matters. Only an unregistered buyer bears the full 18%.
Indicative, not a quote. Published rates are standard retail rates for a new account and are commonly negotiated down at volume. Confirm current rates with the vendor before you commit. Rates last verified Oct 22, 2026.
