Claim this listing →Shortlist CurlShot if you are a developer or small product team in India that needs link previews, Open Graph cards, PDF snapshots or site thumbnails and wants a free tier big enough to prototype on. The documentation is unusually thorough for a new product, with clear quota, rate limit and failure rules, and you are not charged for failed renders or cache hits.
The trade-off is maturity: the domain was registered in October 2026, the legal documents name no company or address (the contact email is a MediaProNet SRL mailbox), the same founder runs three startup directories that feature CurlShot at the top, so traction shown there is not independent, and there is no uptime commitment, so for anything customer-facing compare it with older screenshot APIs that publish an SLA and a company name. Billing is in US dollars through Dodo Payments as merchant of record, with tax added at checkout; confirm before paying whether you can get a GST invoice with your GSTIN if you want input credit. Start on the free plan, measure how your target sites render, and use the first-payment refund window if a paid plan does not work out.

In short
CurlShot is listed under Developer Tools, reviewed for Indian buyers. All-in it runs about ₹1,550/mo for a GST-registered business ($15.83/mo sticker plus about 3.5% card forex). FindThatSoftware rates it best for developers adding website thumbnails or link previews to a directory, portfolio or newsletter; a poor fit for buyers who need a named, registered vendor, a written SLA or GST invoices before signing.
Registered business, per month
₹1,550
CurlShot advertises $15.83/mo. A GST-registered business in India pays about ₹1,550 a month (₹18,597/yr) once the roughly 3.5% card forex markup is added, with GST reclaimed as input credit. If you cannot reclaim GST, it is about ₹1,829 a month.
Indicative, not a bill. The exchange rate is a single mid-market reference, not a live feed, and GST-registered businesses may reclaim input credit. Confirm current pricing on the vendor site.

Audit your spendCurlShot is a screenshot API built and run by its founder, Serghei Pogor. The legal documents name no company, but the contact email on every legal page is a MediaProNet SRL mailbox. You send one HTTP request with a web address, or POST your own HTML or Markdown, and it returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF or a scrolling MP4, WebM or GIF video, rendered in a real browser on the vendor's servers. The options cover full-page capture, device presets, dark mode, ad and cookie banner blocking, custom CSS and JavaScript, caching, signed links for front-end use, async jobs with signed webhooks, bulk calls of up to 100 renders, an n8n node and an MCP endpoint for AI agents. A no-account web tool on the homepage does the same for one-off screenshots. The vendor says it does not render through country proxies or type into login forms, cookie banner blocking works on most sites but not all, and rendered files are deleted after at most 30 days.
