Claim this listing →Shortlist it if you are a student, researcher, lawyer or reviewer who highlights PDFs and wants those notes in Obsidian, Notion or a spreadsheet without uploading the document anywhere. Try the free plan first on your own files: three PDFs a day and 100 annotations per file is enough to see whether colors, authors and page numbers come through correctly.
Before paying, know that there is no named company behind it, prices are in US dollars only, and the operator issues no tax invoices itself and leaves invoicing to the payment processor Creem, so an Indian business wanting GST input credit should check what Creem's invoice shows before buying. The 24-hour pass suits a one-off thesis or contract review better than a subscription. The honest trade-off against a desktop PDF reader that already exports comments, or Zotero for academics, is convenience and local-only processing versus buying from an anonymous, months-old site.

In short
PDFAnnotations is listed under Productivity & Knowledge, reviewed for Indian buyers. All-in it runs about ₹408/mo for a GST-registered business ($4.17/mo sticker plus about 3.5% card forex). It does not issue an India GST invoice, so a registered business reclaims the GST via reverse charge. FindThatSoftware rates it best for students and researchers moving PDF highlights into Obsidian, Notion or Logseq notes; a poor fit for businesses that need a GST invoice or a named, contractable vendor.
Registered business, per month
₹408
PDFAnnotations advertises $4.17/mo. A GST-registered business in India pays about ₹408 a month (₹4,899/yr) once the roughly 3.5% card forex markup is added, with GST reclaimed as input credit. If you cannot reclaim GST, it is about ₹482 a month.
Indicative, not a bill. The exchange rate is a single mid-market reference, not a live feed, and GST-registered businesses may reclaim input credit. Confirm current pricing on the vendor site.

Audit your spendPDFAnnotations is a small web tool at pdfannotations.com whose operator is not named anywhere on the site; the terms only say "the operator of the Service". It reads the highlights, underlines, comments and sticky notes stored inside a PDF (and comments inside a .docx file) and exports them as Markdown, CSV or plain text on the free plan, or as Obsidian callouts, Notion blocks, Excel, JSON and ZIP bundles on Pro. A second set of tools removes annotations: the free Quick Remove clears all supported markings from one PDF, while picking which highlights or comments to remove, and batch removal, need Pro. The vendor says parsing runs in the browser through WebAssembly and files are not uploaded; the site code we read sends no file to any server, only checkout, Pro restore and entitlement calls, translations, and usage and error data to Google Analytics, Sentry and a Tawk.to chat widget. The free plan is capped at three PDFs a day and the first 100 annotations per file (fewer for files over 100 MB). The tool only reads annotation objects stored in the file, so it cannot pull Kindle highlights from an account or touch highlighting burned into a scanned image, and the vendor says annotation removal is not a substitute for redaction.
