Freemium

Freemium combines 'free' and 'premium': the software has a permanently free plan with limits (on users, usage or features) alongside paid tiers that remove those limits. It is the most common pricing model in business software.

A free plan is different from a free trial, which gives full features for a fixed window before you must pay. With freemium you can stay on the free tier indefinitely if you fit within its limits.
