ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)
A description of the type of customer a product or business is the best fit for.
An ICP, or Ideal Customer Profile, describes the kind of customer a product serves best - by size, industry, need and budget. Software vendors design and price around an ICP, which is why a tool can be perfect for one business and wrong for another.
As a buyer, checking whether you fit a tool's ICP (for example, an Indian small business versus a US enterprise) predicts how well its pricing, features and support will fit you.
