TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
The full cost of a tool over its life - not just the subscription.
TCO, or Total Cost of Ownership, is everything you spend to get value from software over its life: subscription plus setup, data migration, training, integrations, add-ons, and any transaction or usage fees.
Comparing tools on TCO rather than the sticker price reveals the genuinely cheaper option - a low subscription with high transaction fees can cost more overall.
