SendHQ alternatives in India

Why people look for SendHQ alternatives

SendHQ is a solid choice for Indie developers and small SaaS teams sending password resets, receipts and alerts from several products and domains through one API, but it is not the right fit for everyone. The most common reasons buyers on this page are weighing a switch:

• •Businesses that need a GST invoice or INR billing, since plans are billed in USD and no GST treatment is stated
• •Cancelling takes effect in SendHQ only, the payment provider keeps charging until it is stopped there or at the bank, and the docs say a deducted payment resumes the subscription automatically
• •Upgrading starts a new subscription on the higher plan while the earlier one keeps billing, so you must cancel the old one yourself

Pricing note: Plans are billed in USD through Dodo Payments and the site says nothing about GST, so expect forex charges and check whether a GST invoice is issued. Marketing sending costs more than transactional on Starter, annual billing saves 10% while quotas stay metered monthly, and today sends are rejected at the cap rather than charged as overage, though the billing docs mention overage billing for attachments in future. Cancelling or upgrading inside SendHQ does not stop the existing charge at the payment provider, so cancel there too. Start from your actual constraint (cost, complexity, or a missing workflow) and pick the alternative below that fixes it without creating new operational mess.
